Vehicle: 2005 Dodge Neon 
Condition:  No start no crank looking for ASD wiring Diagram
Agent recommendation:  Wiring diagram
Solution: Found ECM failed due to water contamination

Thanks to our Program member from:   St Thomas, ON
Vehicle:  2006 Chevrolet Silverado 3500
Condition: No Crank or start
Agent recommendation: Have technician inspect for power at crank fuse and test for power at crank relay. On crank no power. Test wire from ECM to fuse block and test power at ECM, C2 pin 21 no power, trace circuit and located open in wire 
Solution: Located open wire between ECM and fuse block (pink ignition 1 wire) to resolve

Vehicle: 2012 GMC Sierra 2500HD
Condition: Transmission not shifting and DTCs U0101 and C0561 stored.
Agent recommendation: Check vehicle powers and grounds at TCM and if they are good most likely TCM needs replacing and reprogramming.
Solution: TCM needs replacing and reprogramming.

Condition: Vehicle would start but stall out. No codes.
Agent recommendation: Disconnect MAF sensor and see if vehicle runs. Suspect bad MAF sensor.
Solution: Bad MAF sensor.

Vehicle:  2014 Honda Accord, 2.4L.
Condition:  Vehicle will not start and the immobilizer light is on. 
Check the status of the immobilizer system to insure that it is set to “pass” if not the key will have to be reprogrammed.

Condition:  Tech reports codes P0012 and P0016 
Check crankshaft end play and compare to service information

Vehicle: 2008 Chevrolet 1500, 5.4L
Condition:   Collapsed lifters.
Install updated lifters and guides. Confirm adequate and proper oil flow and pressure. Suspect dirty passage.

TAC Profiles


Daniel Bernard has 25 years of automotive technical experience both in the OE and aftermarket environments, as well as heavy duty trucks. His background includes technician, warranty administration, technical training, dealer tool development and validation, technical assistance center support. Daniel provides technical training and support services in French and English.

Daniel (Dan) Mariani has 21 years of automotive technical experience with experience in both the OE and aftermarket environments. He is Honda certified and holds certificates in Automotive Service, Mechanical – Tool & Die Maker, and Architectural Technology.
